Eyelash Extensions

They are synthetic and natural fibers that are attached to your own lashes, one by one, by means of a medical-grade adhesive for the purpose of adding length, curl, and volume to your natural lashes.
They are soft, lightweight, flexible, and cannot be sensed. Best of all, no one will suspect that you are wearing them! To maintain the look, Re-Lashe appointments are necessary every three to four weeks to replace the lashes that have shed or outgrown naturally.
What Does The Application Process Involve?
Your session begins by having you recline on one of our special beds. The stylist is seated behind you and you are asked to close your eyes for the entire application process. You will not even feel your stylist working on you, and you may fall asleep as many clients do. You will open your eyes at the end of the session to a new you!
- Transform yourself in 2 hours or less and have the lashes you always wanted.
- Get ready in moments! Eliminate the need for mascara and go beyond the confines of your natural lashes.
- A minimum of 100 extensions per eye are attached to your natural lashes one by one, with precision and artistry.
- Your eyes too can look like the eyes of the models in the ads, who are often wearing extensions.
- Release your inner diva and see how you can always look vibrant, young and sexy!
After Care Instructions for Lash Extensions

For the first 24 hours avoid wetting your lashes/brows, heat, facials and tanning beds.
After 24 hours, resume your lifestyle. When spray tanning, wear goggles. When receiving a facial, place cotton round on lashes.
Cleanse your lashes/brows daily and rinse with water.
Only use The Lashe® oil free cleansers formulated for eyelash extensions. Cleansers must be oil free as oil degrades the adhesive bond.
Be cautious.
Be careful with facial cleansers, beauty products, or hair conditioners dripping onto your lashes/brows, as they often have high oil content. Use a washcloth to wash and rinse face. Lean head back in shower to avoid conditioner dripping on lashes/brows.
Be gentle with the lashes/brows.
Excessive touching or rubbing of your eyes/brows will cause premature shedding of your natural lashes/brows and/or extensions as your fingertips contain oil. Wipe your lids and lashes with water after working out or excessive sweating. If you have oily skin, use blotting paper and wear powder, talc, or eyeshadow on your lid to absorb oils. Dab brow area and surrounding skin gently with a sponge and water after working out or excessive sweating. Do not use circular motions. Sweat contains oil.
Never use eyeshadow base, gel, pencil or liquid eyeliner.
These will break down the bond. Use an angled head brush and powder shadows for eyeliner and moisten the brush with water for a more defined line.
Only use mascaras that have been specially formulated for extensions.
We recommend The Lashe® Mascara. Apply mascara to the tips of extensions. Never use waterproof mascara.
Brush your lashes/brows in the morning using The Lashe® Conditioner and a clean mascara wand.
It strengthens the bond, glosses the lashes, and fortifies your natural lashes with Biotin and Pro-Vitamin B5. We recommend the conditioner for those with unruly brow hair to train them to grow straight.
Avoid excessive heat from ovens, grills and fire pits
Open oven/ grill doors and allow heat to dissipate first.
Medical Conditions

Alopecia
Hair loss that occurs when your immune system mistakenly attacks hair follicles, which is where hair growth begins. The damage to the follicle is usually not permanent. If you have this condition, The Lashe recommends coming to the salon for a consultation. Depending on the severity, there are several application options that we would like to discuss with you.
Blepharitis/ Demodex(lash mites)/Dry Eye
Condition of the eyes that causes inflammation and possible infection of the eyelid due to a blocked eyelash follicle. The blockage normally occurs from sebum (oil), dead skin cells and bacteria on the natural lash follicle. Over time without treating this condition the hair follicle can become inflamed and eventually causing the lashes to become thinner and sparser.
Eyelash mites
Tiny mites that are typically described as parasitic and take up residence in a person’s pores and hair follicles. They are typically found in the pores and follicles of the face, especially in such areas as the nose, forehead, and eyelashes; they may also be found on a person’s cheeks or chin.
Dry eye
Condition in which there are insufficient tears to lubricate and nourish the eye. Tears are necessary for maintaining the health of the front surface of the eye and for providing clear vision. People with dry eyes either do not produce enough tears or have a poor quality of tears. Dry eye is a common and often chronic problem, particularly in older adults.
Chemotherapy
The Lashe recommends 3-6 months off chemotherapy as well as doctor approval.
Hormone Medications
If you are on any hormone or thyroid medications please let us know as a reaction can occur and The Lashe will go over options with you to decrease the chance of a reaction. Due to the medications, the growth cycle of the lash will also decrease.
Eyelift (Blepharoplasty)
Must wait 4 to 6 MONTHS after the operation and also gain their doctor’s approval.
Eyelash Extension clients will usually develop Blepharitis/Demodex due to poor eye hygiene.
The Lashe recommends using daily one of our Lashe Cleansers. If The Lashe Stylist notices that you may have Blepharitis, we highly recommend to go see an eye specialist immediately. We would advise removal of the lash extensions and intense eye cleansing prior to seeing the eye specialist. Daily lid hygiene is important for those with Blephartis Demodex and dry eye. A convenient and effective way to cleanse the eyelids and eyelashes is to use SteriLid. SteriLid not only cleanses the eyelids and eyelashes, but also conditions the delicate skin around your eyes with its hypoallergenic, pH-matched-to-skin formula.
Trichotillomania (trik-o-til-o-MAY-nee-uh), also called hair-pulling disorder, is when someone has a constant urge to tug at or pull out their own hair. Known as a body-focused repetitive behavior, this most often involves hair on the scalp or on the face, including the eyelashes and the eyebrows.
The Lashe recommends coming to the salon for a consultation.
Depending on the severity, there are several application options that we would like to discuss with you.
Sinus Infection
A common cold or sinus infection can cause irritation and/or eye secretions which can cause inadequate bonding of the adhesive and premature loss of your eyelash extensions.
Pregnancy/Breastfeeding
Generally speaking, eyelash extensions are a safe and non-invasive cosmetic procedure.
The Lashe adhesives are high-quality, low fume adhesives that are manufactured specifically for cosmetic use near the eye. The adhesive does not actually ever touch your skin as the extensions are glued to the individual eyelash hairs. Allergic reactions to the adhesive are very rare and reactions can be treated.
In saying this, we do not recommend that pregnant woman who has not had eyelash extensions before test out the procedure during their pregnancy.
During the procedure, you are required to lay flat on your back for over one hour, a position that is not recommended for women in the advanced stages of pregnancy. It also requires that you lay quite still, which can be difficult if you’re heavily pregnant.
Secondly, if you were unlucky and had an allergic reaction, your doctor may not be able to give you the required treatment due to your pregnancy, thus prolonging the reaction. However, if we had been doing your lashes before you become pregnant, please confirm with your practitioner that there is no problem continuing with the extensions.
Breast Feeding – As the adhesive doesn’t come into contact with the skin, there is no harm in getting eyelash extensions. The hair follicle is dead cells and the adhesive does not absorb into the hair, therefore, does not enter the bloodstream.
In all cases, The Lashe recommends that you speak with your doctor and receive approval.
Eyebrow Extensions and Microblading

Eyebrow extensions are an innovative treatment for eyebrow enhancement. They are single synthetic fibers attached to the skin or brow hairs that give volume, dimension, recreate depth and can elongate the brows.
As women age, the brows naturally become thinner. Gaps and sparseness from over plucking as well as scaring can now be filled in. The look created is far more natural than powders or pencils can achieve. The procedure takes an hour and results last up to two weeks. Now you can have the full brows you have always dreamed of.
Eyebrow Cosmetic Tattooing (by the Hair Stroke Technique)

How much time and effort do you spend drawing, penciling, shading and shaping your brows?
Now you can have the full brows you have always desired without having to waste a moment to create them. This new method differs from traditional permanent cosmetics or tattoos as the pigment is not implanted as deep. The pigment is deposited in between the epidermal and dermal bands in a hair stroke technique.
The results? A natural-looking brow that no one will you were not born with. Imagine waking up to brows that are perfectly tailored to your face, with no effort, smudging, or reapplying makeup during the day.
Give us a few hours and we will change your life! Your beautiful brows await you!
The Process
This method is painless and the service takes two hours. Prior to the service, you will have to complete a consultation form regarding your medical history to assess if you are a candidate.
During your service, we analyze your face shape, eye shape, and overall desires to create the perfect brow shape that is symmetrical to your proportions. Once shape is determined, we analyze your skin tones to select your perfect brow coloration.
After finalization of shape and color, a numbing agent is applied and the service begins. The entire appointment can take up to 3 hours, depending on the consultation. The application process takes up to one hour.
In six to eight weeks, there is a follow-up appointment, to determine if there are any changes in color or shape that typically takes one hour. After that, you wake up to the perfect brows every morning.
Depending on aftercare, your brows will last between one to five years. Follow-up appointments are recommended every three years depending on fading.
